Shower Head Filter
Chlorine is used to disinfect water by killing bacteria and other microorganisms. In most cities, its common practice to treat water heavily with chemicals, such as chlorine.
However, once it reaches your home chlorine can negatively affect your family's long term health, comfort and even your appearance. - KDF: KDF is used mainly in showers. The technology is best when it comes to treating hot water. It is a mixture of copper and zinc. When water flows through the filter, a little electric charge is induced into the water and there by frees the chlorine. Then the chlorine is safely changed into shameless chloride and flows out.
- Carbon: Carbon molecules have sticky surface and this property of carbon is used to removes pollutants from the water. Due to the temperature of water used in showers a high grade of carbon must be used to efficiently filter out unwanted substances from the water at high temperature.
- Chlorine: operation principle of Chlorine is the same as KDF, but its exceptionally good at high temperature.
- Crystals and Magnets: This technology is used to change cluster of water molecules and there by soften water and get rid of chlorine.
- Vitamin C: vitamin C filters contain some amount of pharmaceutical grade Vitamin C, capable of neutralizing chlorine in water. There are different attributes of water that affect actual results: the temperature, pressure and quality of the water.
I hope there are more technologies and new ones also emerge from time to time, but for start this should give you some idea about shower head filter technologies.

Installation of these shower head filters is super easy and you can do it yourself without hiring a professional. Just like any other form of filters, shower header filers, come with renewable filer cartilage. Usually, one cartilage last about one year.
