Chlorgon is one type of Redox filtration media. Researched, developed and patented by David Farley, CEO of Sprite Industries, Inc., Chlorgon converts free chlorine and some combined chlorines, such as sodium hypochlorite (liquid swimming pool chlorine), to a harmless chloride. Redox is complex chemical that helps to transfer small amount of electors to water and create new elements. While water flows through the sprint shower filter, it gets in contact with the filtering media and the small chlorine molecules gets converted into lager molecules. KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) is also another form of redox filtration media that is used by sprint shower filter. KDF converts free chlorine in shower water to a harmless chloride.
